Mirror Check

"How recognizable am I right now?"

/recognition:mirror, or a key you bind yourself in Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM (Recognition: mirror check). It has no key by default.

What it shows

Your character checks themselves over, and a small Mirror check card appears.

At the top is a ring with the highest result anyone who knows you could reach right now, and one line that sums it up:

RingLine
80 % or more (the act line)Easy: people who know you can recognize you.
50–79 %Medium: you may look familiar, but not for sure.
Under 50 %Hard: you are hard to recognize right now.

Below that, one row per cue:

CueWhat it tells you
VoicePeople can learn your real voice when you talk, or that your voice changer is on, with the battery time left
ClothingThat your outfit is visible — other clothes won't match what people remember
FaceYour face is visible, Partly hidden by: … with the % still visible, or Hidden by: …. Also whether your hair is hidden
TattooWhich of your tattoos are on skin somebody could see — or that they are all covered, or that you have none

At the bottom: a Slower: dark, rain line when the light or weather would slow people down (see Weather & Light), and a reminder that the card assumes people saw you in these clothes before.

Why it matters

Before you go and do something you would rather not be remembered for, this is the card that tells you whether the mask you put on actually hides anything — or whether your sleeves are rolled up and your arm tattoos are doing the identifying for you.

It is also the quickest way to find out that a new EUP mask your server just installed has not been classified yet and is being treated as a full face cover (see Clothing Classifier & Auto-scan).

Good to know

  • The card updates live while it is open. Put a hat on and watch the face line change.
  • Your character plays a short "checking themselves over" pose. It is skipped in a vehicle.
  • If you have bound a key for the HUD settings, the card's footer shows it. Otherwise open them with /recognition:hud.
  • It tells you nothing about anybody else, and nobody else sees anything.
