Commands
Every command can be renamed or switched off in Config.Commands — set a key to
false to disable it entirely.
Player commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/recognition:hud | Move, resize and restyle the HUD panel |
/recognition:mirror | How recognizable am I right now? |
/recognition:introduce | Tell your name to the person in front of you |
/recognition:describe | Describe someone you remember to the person in front of you |
/recognition:statement | Write a witness statement |
/recognition:cancel | Drop your newest running scan. Nothing is saved |
Without an inventory (standalone servers), three more:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/recognition:items | List the items you are carrying |
/recognition:use <item> | Use one of them |
/recognition:handover <item> | Hand a device or paper to the person in front of you |
/recognition:handover is also the fallback on inventories that cannot store
item metadata.
Key bindings
Rebindable in Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM.
| Key | Default | Does |
|---|---|---|
| Recognition: open the menu | F3 | Open the menu: Scan person to memory, Recognize, Camera recordings, Stop looking |
| Recognition: recognize / stop | E | Stop the scan of the person you look at (in prompt mode it also starts one) |
| Recognition: next person | → | Next candidate |
| Recognition: previous person | ← | Previous candidate |
| Recognition: HUD settings | unbound | Same as /recognition:hud |
| Recognition: mirror check | unbound | Same as /recognition:mirror |
The scan keys only act while somebody is in front of you or a scan is running, so E still opens doors and shops everywhere else.
| Menu option | Does |
|---|---|
| Scan person to memory | Start a scan on the person under the orange arrow (or everyone you picked with SPACE) |
| Recognize | A 2–3 second look only: the answer, or You don't know him. It never turns into a full scan |
| Camera recordings | Print a hidden-camera recording as a paper. Needs the camera in your inventory |
| Stop looking | End every scan and quick look at once. What you learned is saved as usual |
Staff commands
Each needs the level named. See Admin Panel for
what the levels mean. Everything on this list except /recognition:admin and
/recognition:debug also works from the server console (there, leave out the /).
The console has no character of its own, so give it the player ids it needs.
| Command | Level | What it does |
|---|---|---|
/recognition:admin [idA] [idB] | view | Open the panel, optionally on a pair |
/recognition:check <idA> <idB> | view | Print what each of the two remembers of the other |
/recognition:status | view | Running scans, quick looks, cache sizes and detected integrations |
/recognition:selftest | view | The installation self-test. Every line should say PASS |
/recognition:verifyproofs [fromId] | view | Check that no proof or admin-log row was changed or deleted outside the panel |
/recognition:export <idA> <idB> [note] | export | Send a pair report to Discord |
/recognition:tags [id] | classifier | What the game says about somebody's clothes, and how the script classified them |
/recognition:resetidentity <id|charKey> <reason> | identity | Make everybody forget this character — no payment, no editor |
/recognition:freeimplant <id> <reason> | identity | Start a free face implant for a player |
/recognition:implantcooldown <id|charKey> <days> <reason> | identity | Set or clear the wait before their next implant |
/recognition:giveitem <id> <item> [count] | edit | Give a virtual item — standalone servers only |
/recognition:prune | settings | Run the database cleanup now |
/recognition:debug | settings | Toggle the debug overlay for yourself |
The in-game panel and /recognition:check refuse a pair or player that involves
your own character. The server console is exempt.
