Changelog

All changes to 5code-adminpanel, newest first.

The version is the version line in fxmanifest.lua. The panel shows it at the bottom of its menu. Every version that changes an open file (config.lua, config_server.lua, locales/*.lua, bridge/*.lua) says so here, so you can compare your copy with the new one.

How to install a new version: Updating.

v1.0.0

First release.

The panel

  • An in-game admin panel, opened with /admin, and a small quick menu, opened with /adminmenu. Keys for both are optional.
  • Ten pages: Dashboard, Players, Self Tools, World, Bans, Warns, Reports, Logs, Ranks & Staff, FairShield.
  • Staff only see the pages and buttons their rank allows.

Dashboard

  • Live numbers: players online, staff online, reports not resolved yet.
  • Statistics for the last 30, 60 or 90 days in three views: Activity, Reports and Moderation.

Players

  • A list of online players with search, and a search for offline players.
  • A profile for each player: identifiers, money, job, last login, playtime and first seen.
  • A History on the profile: the player's bans and warns, newest first, for ranks that may see them.
  • Staff notes and alerts on a player. An alert is shown to all staff until it is cleared.
  • Quick actions: Go to, Bring to me, Spectate, Freeze, Revive, Heal, Screenshot, Inventory, Kill.
  • Moderation: Kick, Ban, Jail, Warn, Message.
  • Give / set: money, items, job, model, routing bucket.
  • Reset look gives a player their own saved character back after Set Model. It works with illenium-appearance, qb-clothing, and ESX skinchanger with esx_skin. Other clothing scripts connect through the open file bridge/appearance.lua.
  • Revive tells qb-ambulancejob, qbx_medical (Qbox), esx_ambulancejob and esx_death (ESX 1.16 and newer) that the player is up again. Other ambulance scripts connect through the open file bridge/ambulance.lua.
  • Ban and warn also work on a player who is offline.
  • Kick, ban, warn and jail are refused on yourself.

Self tools and quick menu

  • Noclip, god mode, invisible and super jump.
  • Teleport to your waypoint or to a saved place, and go back to where you were.
  • Spawn, fix, flip and delete a vehicle.
  • Players near you with one-click actions, and a search by name or server ID.
  • Names and IDs above heads, and players on the map. Only you see them.
  • Clear the area around you, and copy your position for the config.
  • The number of waiting tickets, with Take next.

World

  • Weather, time of day, blackout and PvP for everyone.
  • Server-wide announcements.
  • Clear empty vehicles, freeze all, bring all and kick all. The panel asks before each of them.

Bans and warnings

  • Bans for a set time or permanent, with your own ban message.
  • A ban holds by account and also by PC. The PC part can be switched off.
  • Bans and Warns pages with search, the staff member behind each entry, and Revoke.

Tickets and sits

  • Players write a ticket with /report. They get a small chat window that minimizes to a tab on the edge of the screen. A key (F10 by default) or /ticket brings it back. Both command names can be changed in config.lua.
  • A ticket board for staff: Open, Claimed, My claims and Resolved.
  • Claim, reply, give back, take over (with a higher rank) and resolve.
  • A claimed ticket goes back to waiting 5 minutes after its staff member left the server.
  • Sits: add players to a ticket, send a heads-up, and bring everybody to a private sit room. At the end each person is sent back, left there or jailed.

Jail

  • A built-in admin jail on every framework. The player is kept at one spot, sees the minutes left, and is put back afterwards. Leaving the server does not end it.
  • Police prison: hand a player to your server's own prison script. qb-prison and xt-prison are supported. Other prison scripts connect through the open file bridge/jail.lua.

Logs

  • Every staff action, ban, warning, kick, ticket event, join and leave, with search and filters.
  • Each line shows its details: the reason and length of a ban, the amount and account of money, the item, the job, the ticket number. The search also finds a player's name and text from the details.
  • Log lines older than Config.LogKeepDays days are deleted (default 90, 0 keeps everything). Bans, warns and tickets are never deleted.
  • Optional Discord webhooks for each kind of entry.

Ranks and staff

  • A super-admin is set in server.cfg. Everything else is done in the panel.
  • Make your own ranks: a name, a power level and one tick box per permission, each with a plain explanation.
  • Four default ranks to start with: God, Admin, Moderator and Helper.
  • Staff cannot act on somebody with the same or a higher rank, and cannot give permissions they do not have.

FairShield lookup

  • Check a player's Discord account against FairShield's list of cheat servers. It needs an API key from the FairShield Discord.

Everything else

  • Frameworks: QBCore, Qbox and ESX.
  • Open files for your settings, your texts and your own integrations: config.lua, config_server.lua, locales/*.lua, bridge/*.lua.
  • The database sets itself up and updates itself.
  • The texts of the game side are in an open English locale file and can be translated.
  • An update check at every start.
