Short answers to the questions server owners ask first.
Installing
Do I have to import an SQL file? No. The script creates its tables when it starts. See Database.
How do I get into the panel the first time?
Make yourself super-admin with one line in server.cfg, restart the server, then type /admin. See Installation.
Can I keep my old admin menu?
Yes, as long as the two do not use the same commands. If your old menu also uses /admin or /report, stop it or rename the panel's commands in config.lua. See General.
Can I rename the commands?
Yes, all four. The panel, the quick menu, the report command and the ticket chat each have their own command name in config.lua. These docs write the default names, such as /report. See Commands.
Ranks and permissions
Where do I set who may do what?
In the panel, on the Ranks & Staff page. The ranks in config.lua are only written into an empty database on the first start.
What does a rank need to open the panel? At least one permission. A player without a rank cannot open it.
Can a moderator ban an admin? No. Staff can never act on somebody with the same or a higher rank. A super-admin stands above every rank.
What is the difference between a super-admin and the highest rank?
A super-admin is set by the server owner in server.cfg, not in the panel. Nobody in the panel can act on them or take their access away.
Bans and jail
Does a ban stop a player who makes a new account?
Yes. A ban blocks the account and the PC. You can switch the PC part off with Config.BanHardware. See Bans.
Can a player wait out the admin jail offline? No. The jail time only runs while the player is on the server. Leaving and joining again puts them back in jail.
What is the difference between the admin jail and the police prison? The admin jail is the panel's own: a yard, a timer, nothing else. The police prison hands the player to your server's prison script, like your police job does. See Jail.
Tickets
How does a player ask for help?
They type /report and their question. A chat window opens where staff answer. See the Player Guide.
Can two staff members answer the same ticket? One staff member handles a ticket at a time. They can release it, and a higher rank can take it over. See Tickets.
What happens to a ticket when its staff member leaves the server? It waits 5 minutes for them. If they are not back by then, the ticket goes back to waiting and any staff member can claim it. The player reads "Your ticket is waiting for a staff member again". A running sit ends the moment its staff member leaves.
Logs
How long are the logs kept?
90 days by default. Older log lines are deleted by the script. Change the number with Config.LogKeepDays, or set it to 0 to keep everything. Bans, warns and tickets are never deleted. See General.
Does the Logs page show the reason of a ban? Yes. Each line shows the details after the names: the reason and length of a ban, the amount of money, the item, the ticket number. See Logs.
Can I send the logs to Discord?
Yes. Put your webhook addresses into config_server.lua. See Discord Webhooks.
Other
Can staff undo Set Model? Yes. Reset look gives the player their own saved character back. It needs a clothing script. See Player Actions.
Where do I get a FairShield API key? In the FairShieldAC Discord (opens in a new tab). The key is free, through our partnership with FairShield. The lookup stays off until a key is set. See FairShield.
Can I translate the panel? You can translate the notices and messages players and staff read in game. The panel pages are in English. See Localization.
Which frameworks work? QBCore, Qbox and ESX. The script finds yours by itself. See the Compatibility Matrix.
